Our Hero of the week is Gandhi! He shows true strength and courage when he fights for what he believes in – equality. A couple of days ago, EDH received a wonderful message from a facebook friend named Dianna: “My Hero is me!! You can knock me down, but I get up, dust myself off and keep on going! Im the only one that tells me the whole truth and I can rely on myself to be there when need be! EverydayHero Papito had a dream, to compete in the World Championship games, and that’s exactly what he did. After almost losing his head from a horrific accident that cost him a leg, Papito never gave up on himself. His perseverance touched Jack Layton, who got Papito Canadian citizenship within one week, so he could compete for Canada at the World Paralympic Championship Games.
