EverydayHero Amanda saves at risk kids at Future Aces every day. She is the education coordinator and has a passion for helping and loving kids, no matter where they come from. She is an EverydayHero. Sometimes we have a hard time defining what an EverydayHero is. She embodies many qualities that define a hero.
She is caring, loving, kind, and most importantly, she does genuine acts of kindness, no matter who the kid or person is. She has a beautiful soul that represents an EverydayHero that does acts of kindness, courage and compassion. EverydayHero Amanda Saves At Risk Kids and she sure loves it.
She goes on the three day conferences Future Aces holds for at risk kids. She helps the kids gain confidence and feel good about themselves. She inspires many people to step outside of their comfort zones and reach their goals. So many kids have great and confident lives at the moment because of her passion for helping these at risk kids. She was a teacher who saw many kids falling through the cracks. As the liaison for Future Aces, she chose the ones that caused problems, to be the positive leaders, to affect others.
Next time you think about what being an EverydayHero means to you, try to think outside the box. Think about the many possibilities and definitions involving heroism. Who inspires you? Who makes you happy?
The “Everyday Hero,” is the person who smiles at you on an off day. It is the war veteran fighting for freedom and equality for all. The everyday hero is within every single human being on this planet, and is expressed by simple, ordinary actions. Heroes do simple acts; of kindness, courage, and love. Everyday we have a chance to be the star in the movie of our own lives. In a letter to his daughter released in April 2015, Albert Einstein writes “life is a flow of love, your participation is requested.” Our world needs more heroes. It is our job to bring out the hero that lives inside of each of us, making this world a better place to live in.
