Who does not recognize that charismatic face on Audrey Hepburn? Not only is Ms. Hepburn a worldwide ultra famous actress, but she was a major philanthropist and an altogether hero for many people.
While she was having Breakfast at Tiffany’s, she was also making a difference in the world by being the UNICEF goodwill ambassador for many years, helping out third world countries fight for their rights and freedoms. Her career as a helper and hero superseded her film career, a fact not known to many. She helped raise money to fight the Nazis despite her family’s support of the Third Reich.
Audrey is a true hero because she stood up for what she believed in. She fought for humans no matter who they were, and really activated her hero gene. For that, we salute you Audrey, because you’re performance both on, and off screen, is most certainly Oscar worthy.
